Partnership Employment is supporting a well-established and reputable organization in the oil and gas industry in identifying an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership of volume-driven workflows, and has experience in energy sector accounting operations.Responsibilities:Review high-volume invoice coding for operated oil and gas properties to ensure accurate general ledger, AFE, and property allocations in alignment with company policies and accounting standards.Verify supporting documentation and proper field-level approvals prior to processing.Upload invoice batches into the accounting system and support routine invoice workflows.Participate in check run rotation with other team members.Research and resolve vendor issues regarding billing, payments, or discrepancies.Prepare and process journal vouchers as needed.Scan, index, and archive invoices and documentation into the digital records system.Provide support on additional tasks or accounting projects as assigned.Qualifications:1–2 years of hands-on invoice coding experience within oil and gas, ideally supporting operated onshore upstream properties (LOE and CapEx) preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, field personnel, vendors, and leadership.Experience with accounting/ERP systems; exposure to systems commonly used in oil and gas accounting is a plus.Prior experience with electronic invoice routing or approval workflow software preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.Education:Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, and 3+ years of accounting/AP experience; ORHigh school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant oil and gas accounting or accounts payable experience.
