Total Rewards ConsultantThe Total Rewards team, in Chick-fil-A's People Department, serves as a strategic partner to the Support Center and provides consultation to leadership as it relates to the Talent Management System. Specifically, this position is responsible for evaluation roles and providing input into the design, implementation, and communication of compensation programs ensuring they are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and supportive of the company's total rewards philosophy.Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate discussions with leadership to effectively evaluate jobs and determine the appropriate placement in the job level structurePartners with Talent Consultants to provide consultation on compensation program and policy mattersProvides consultation and support to leadership on compensation matters, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions and recommendationsCollaborates with the compensation team to evaluate and determine appropriate compensation for Staff below the Sr. Leadership levelServes as a resource for rewards issues for all staffProvides information to leadership with respect to current legislation pertaining to rewards programsProvides expertise and advice to all staff and leadership on interpretation, development, and revision of policies, procedures and compensation programsPartners in supporting Staff and leadership understanding of compensation related programs and practices through ongoing communication and trainingManages difficult situations requiring tack and professionalismProvides information to staff via verbal and written and verbal communicationDevelops policies and procedures for the administration of reward programs MinimumMinimum QualificationsBachelor's DegreeDegree in Human resources, Business, Finance or other related degree5+ years of professional work experience in a corporate of consulting environment including experience in job evaluation methods, administration, and communication of compensation programsStrong consulting and relationship-building skillsEffective at influencing and pushing back to leadership when opinions differStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExecutive presence and ability to influence all organization levels effectivelyPreferred QualificationsDegree in Human Resources7+ years of professional work experience in a corporate or consulting environment including experience in job evaluation methods, administration, and communication of compensation programsExperience in compensation benchmarking and market research MinimumMinimum Years of Experience5Travel Requirements10%Required Level of EducationBachelor's DegreeRelocation Assistance ProvidedNo
