(TPMG) is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with over 10,000 physicians, 21 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California, and an over 80-year tradition of providing quality medical care.Renal PathologistOpenings in Berkeley, California We are currently seeking 2 fellowship-trained Renal Pathologists to support a newly internalized renal pathology program, starting mid-2026. Our program provides an unparalleled clinical experience, supported by collaboration with more than 90 nephrologists who care for a remarkably diverse patient population across our medical centers. The positions will have sign-out responsibility for cases across the region, including light microscopy and immunofluorescence (with outsourced Electron Microscopy). Some portion of sign out in a secondary area will be necessary. Alternatively, opportunities for a reduced schedule exist. There are over 800 native kidney biopsies and 300 transplant biopsies annually.Other highlights of the position include seamless integration through a unified electronic health record system, a weekly dedicated multi-disciplinary glomerular disease board, and renal pathology education and clinicopathologic case conferences.
