Hospice Pharmacist – $62.02/hr – M–F 12pm–8pm – Tempe, AZ Hospice Pharmacist Pay: $62.02 per hour Hospice Pharmacist Location: Tempe, AZ 85288 – On-site at the client’s company Hospice Pharmacist Schedule: Monday–Friday | 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Hospice Pharmacist Overview: The client’s company, a closed-door pharmacy dedicated to providing timely, cost-effective medication to hospice patients, is hiring a Pharmacist for the afternoon/evening shift. This role offers a steady weekday schedule and the opportunity to play a critical part in patient comfort and care. Hospice Pharmacist Key Responsibilities: Verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Monitor for potential drug interactions and ensure appropriate medication use. Maintain proper recordkeeping and compliance with all legal requirements. Supervise pharmacy technicians and provide clinical guidance. Support hospice teams by ensuring timely delivery of medications. Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Hospice Pharmacist Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required. Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and urgency in patient care. Proficiency with computers and pharmacy systems.
