Experience/Skills:


  • 3-5 years’ experience in automotive vehicle/tractor manufacturing engineering.
  • Mechanical/automotive engineering is preferred.
  • Worked in Manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Have background knowledge and experience in new product development processes for facility, equipment, and tool planning.
  • Quality tool knowledge such as APPAP/APQP
  • Knowledge about Process Flow Chart, Control Plan, and SOP
  • Knowledge of time study techniques (MOST)
  • Knowledge regarding project management
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
  • Support the implementation of cost, quality, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Write and Modify Standard Operating Procedures
  • Serve as a technical expert and coach for team members.
  • Responsible for overseeing the resolution of all debug issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets when required.
  • Follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Perform safety audits as required.
  • Work with production teams to ensure that goals are being met.
  • Knowledge of handling general office equipment


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or graduate's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A critical thinker who pays attention to detail.
  • Prior hands-on experience of engineering function for automobiles and trucks
  • Use leadership skills to help with problem solving and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Training in Six Sigma (black belt) is preferred.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure problem solving occurs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use business acumen to assist with all aspects of the work.
