Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury defense law, with a proven track record of success in handling complex cases.


Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in personal injury defense cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and options.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the effective handling of cases.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing personal injury defense law.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience in conducting depositions and arguing motions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a reputable law firm specializing in personal injury defense.
  • Trial experience, including experience in both state and federal courts.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
