Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Elk Grove Village, ILCompensation: $22$25 per hour (based on experience)We are a rapidly growing logistics company providing nationwide warehousing, distribution, and transportation services. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, strong customer relationships, and a collaborative team environment. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a high-performing Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team.The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing. This individual will work closely with vendors, internal operations, and the accounting team to maintain data integrity and support month-end close activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and reconcile high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely mannerReview invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policiesMatch purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure accuracyMaintain vendor files and manage vendor communications, including resolution of discrepanciesAssist with weekly payment runs and expense reportsSupport month-end closing tasks including AP accruals and reportingCollaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and warehouse teamsDrive process improvement and contribute to AP best practicesQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience within a large corporate environmentStrong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication and customer service skillsWhat We OfferHourly pay of $22$25/hr depending on experienceGrowth opportunities within a scaling organizationCollaborative and supportive team environmentHybrid work schedule
