Overview
The Director of Marketing and Lead Generation is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the company’s overall marketing efforts and optimizing lead generation strategies to fuel business growth. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and data-driven decision-making to build and scale marketing initiatives that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1.Strategic Planning and Execution
•Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
•Create and oversee the execution of lead generation plans, including digital marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media outreach.
•Collaborate with senior management to set marketing priorities and allocate resources effectively.
2.Lead Generation and Demand Generation
•Design and manage lead generation programs to drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
•Utilize various channels such as PPC, social media advertising, webinars, events, and partnerships to generate and nurture leads.
•Develop and optimize lead scoring and nurturing processes using marketing automation tools.
3.Digital Marketing
•Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
•Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
•Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing to keep the company at the forefront of industry developments.
4.Content Marketing
•Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content that attracts and converts target audiences.
•Ensure content aligns with the brand voice, messaging, and overall marketing strategy.
•Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce and distribute content across multiple platforms.
5.Analytics and Reporting
•Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
•Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
•Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
6.Team Leadership and Development
•Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
•Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
•Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to budgets.
7.Brand Management
•Ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.

Qualifications
1.Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Proven track record of successful lead generation and demand generation strategies.
•Preferred to have marketing experience in the Sports Performance or Fitness related industries.
2.Skills and Competencies
•Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
•Proficient in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

•Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximization of ROI.
•Monitor spending and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
•Support the sales team with targeted campaigns, sales collateral, and lead generation initiatives.
Performance Metrics
• Comfortable leading a team to generate over 1,000 inbound leads a month.
• Comfortable leading a team to set 80 outbound onsite appointments for sales staff a month.
