Location: Golden, CO
Compensation: 100 to 120k, Bonus
Type: Direct
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Training Manager with experience in onboarding, sales training, and developing comprehensive training materials such as manuals, playbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will have a background in establishing sales training programs, building out formal new hire/onboarding programs, and creating manuals, playbooks, and SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a thorough onboarding program to ensure new sales representatives are well-prepared and quickly integrated into the company culture and sales processes.
- Develop and conduct regular sales training sessions, workshops, and continuous learning opportunities that enhance the capabilities of the sales team in the commercial construction arena.
- Author and update comprehensive sales manuals, playbooks, and other training documentation to ensure consistent and effective sales practices across the team.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the sales department, ensuring all processes are clear, efficient, and adhere to industry best practices.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of sales personnel, providing constructive feedback and personalized coaching to drive improvement and success.
- Work closely with leadership, marketing, and other departments to align training initiatives with company objectives and integrate feedback into training programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in commercial construction to ensure training content is current and relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in training and development are a plus.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a sales training role with hands-on experience in onboarding new employees, sales training, and developing training documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a talent for explaining complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Proven ability to build relationships and inspire a diverse sales team, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong writing skills with experience in creating comprehensive training materials, including manuals, playbooks, and SOPs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as required to various office locations and project sites.
