Custodian Position at SBM ManagementThe Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. Teamwork, integrity, and compassion are core values of our company, and we go to great lengths to ensure that our employees are satisfied and rewarded for the work that they do.Responsibilities:Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleOperate motorized cleaning equipmentMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorComply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageSupport shift lead in completing punch-list itemsUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionUnderstand reporting systems, and of the environmentQualifications:May be required to have a valid driver's licenseCompleted all safety and task training certificationMay be required to be forklift certifiedBilingual a plusAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient useNo specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCompensation: $15.00-$16.00 per hourShift: Mon - Fri 3:00pm - 11:30 pmSBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
