Telehealth Psychiatrist - Night Call

We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed in TN to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient Medical/Surgical consultation) and/or ED coverage to our clients.

Compensation: $350 per hour on average ($175 per encounter)

Position Summary:

• Psychiatrist will see approximately 1- 3 patient encounters per evening
• 12-hour shifts between (7p-7a)
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable
• Other State license preferences: KS, MO, LA, TN, TX, CA, ID, UT, AK
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models - multiple options are available
• Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of TN
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
• PMHNP Supervision/Collaboration may also be requested
