JOB DESCRIPTION: Theoris is seeking a skilled Mathematical Optimization and Simulation Consultant with expertise in algebraic modeling languages such as Pyomo, JuMP, or GAMS. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics to tackle complex challenges, optimize business processes, and drive impactful solutions. If you’re passionate about using cutting-edge techniques to make a real-world difference, we’d love to have you on our team


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with business and research teams to drive analytics initiatives that deliver tangible value.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry to provide objective, data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with analytics peers to review work, share feedback, and stay ahead of new methodologies.
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level analytics solutions to support business needs.
  • Identify and execute high-impact analytics projects.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to business and research teams.
  • Stay current with the latest data science techniques and tools.
  • Work with diverse data sources to develop innovative solutions.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.S. or higher in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in optimization or simulation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, Matlab, Java, or C++.
  • Strong knowledge of optimization, simulation, and machine learning.
  • Experience with algebraic modeling languages like Pyomo, JuMP, or GAMS.
