With the fast growth of our business, we have an immediate vacancy for a full-time Systems Engineer for our Plainsboro, NJ location.


Responsibilities

  • Define and Develop new product requirements
  • Perform feasibility studies for product developments
  • Conduct research on new technologies and analyze competitive products
  • Build prototypes with our Engineering Team and perform system tests for conformance
  • Develop and maintain product performance standards
  • Provide technical support to production and service departments on complex issues related to hardware, electronics, firmware, and software.


Education

  • BS in physical science or engineering required. MS and Ph.D. preferred.


Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills, experienced with Matlab or Microscoft Excel for spectral data analysis.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in optics, spectroscopy, electronics, and mechanics, and expertise in one of these areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in using Raman spectroscopy instruments for research is a plus.
  • Experience in developing analytical instruments is a big plus.
  • Experience in using Zemax for optic modeling is a big plus.
