Entry level. Proficient in the use of MS applications, principally Excel is required. Position Purpose: Applies principles of cost accounting with a primary focus on administrative duties and basic analysis of cost accounting and inventory accounting. Provides support to maintain a complete and accurate general ledger.Job Description:Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for closing.Reconcile assigned accounts including preparation of appropriate documentation.Prepares schedules, reports, presentations, etc. for management.Under immediate supervision, follows established procedures to perform tasks that are routine in nature, requiring little evaluation, originality, or ingenuity.Perform routine processing, either automated or manual, as required, of financial transactions.Specific area of responsibility.Applies principles of cost accounting with a primary focus on administrative duties and basic analysis of cost accounting and inventory accounting.Perform other duties as assigned.
