Responsibilities include associate development, customer service, asset protection, store maintenance, managing payroll budgets, ensuring store standards and compliance, maintaining the front-end and exterior of the building, providing daily tasks to associates, organizing office areas, supporting the door to floor process and merchandising initiatives, completing the monthly operational risk assessment, leading safety meetings, ensuring customer service standards, completing price changes, coaching and training store associates, performing team leader functions, providing leadership regarding donation programs and Ollie's Army membership, assisting with hiring and recruiting, and completing additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of retail experience in a supervisory role, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, ability to manage in a professional work environment, sound judgment, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, knowledge of industry terms and processes, effective communication and task delegation, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending and twisting frequently, gripping, reaching, and pinching with arms and hands frequently, squatting, kneeling, balancing, and climbing occasionally, and seeing, hearing, and speaking regularly.
