Jr Recruiter

We are looking to hire, train and develop an enthusiastic, hardworking, dependable person to assist with our recruiting activities. As a Jr Recruiter, you will be responsible for posting job descriptions online, examining résumés, screening potential candidates, and setting up interviews. You will work directly under the Account Manager and assist with all recruiting-related duties.

To ensure success as our Jr Recruiter, you should have the urge to learn, sense of urgency, work well under pressure, be a team player, have excellent communication skills, proficient with clerical duties and the ability to multi-task. The Jr Recruiter will work with and be trained by the Account Manager in this developmental role and assist with any duties needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the account manager with recruitment duties.
• Reviewing available positions and candidate requirements.
• Communicating with internal and external customers.
• Posting job applications on social media and/or job sites.
• Tracking open positions using recruiting software.
• Assisting the hiring team in screening candidate résumés.
• Contacting candidate references and verifying education requirements.
• Conducting initial phone screenings.
• Communicating with candidates and setting up interviews.
• Managing the résumé database.
• Clerical work

Requirements:

• HS Diploma
• Previous experience working in an office/clerical setting.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced interpersonal skills.
