Senior Chemical Engineer / Senior Process Engineer

Location: Allentown, PA

(Hybrid schedule available)


Seeking an experienced Process Technology Engineer to join our innovative team This role focuses on developing cutting-edge processes from conceptual design to commercial implementation. Ideal candidates will excel in a collaborative environment, delivering expert knowledge and detailed presentations to both technical teams and management.


What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and enhance processes.
  • Create process descriptions and develop simulations for new/upgraded systems.
  • Develop and support the creation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
  • Prepare detailed process equipment data sheets and utility usage lists.
  • Conduct system calculations including line sizing and hydraulic evaluations.
  • Develop process control schemes and ensure quality of engineering work.
  • Assist in preparing Start-up and Operating Manuals.


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong preference for expertise in cryogenic processing.
  • Proficient with ASPEN HYSYS, SimSci, and AVEVA dynamic simulation software.
  • Solid understanding of process safety, PSM regulations, NFPA codes, and patent development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and present complex solutions.
  • Experienced with cryogenic processing: Cryogenic air separation, liquefaction of natural gas, liquefaction of hydrogen, light gas separations, etc.
