Role: Finance and Sales Analyst (Temp 3+ Months Assignment)

This is a full-time on-site role for a TEMP: Financial Analyst in New York, NY. This is an 3+ month interim position with an immediate start date due to needed coverage during parental leave.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, finance, and financial reporting on a day-to-day basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive global sell-in (shipments) and sellout (retail) sales analysis reporting on a weekly basis.
  • Perform in-depth weekly and monthly retail sales analysis specifically for the EU/UK team.
  • Manage and update the global pricing database by retailer, ensuring accurate pricing uploads in NetSuite.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support various departments and upper management with data-driven insights.
  • Monitor and track regional expenses and Return to Vendor (RTV).
  • Maintain the royalties report.
  • Manage the promo/credit report
  • Work with cross functional tams to understand trends: sales, finance, global


Qualifications

  • Proven Financial Planning and Analytical Skills
  • 5+ Yrs experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Strong understanding of Finance principles
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience working with Netsuite, or similar ERP
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities


What we offer:

  • Hourly pay @ $50/hr, not to exceed 40 hours per week
