Read below for more informationWhat Youll Do as an HR Generalist:Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessmentsRecruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openingsConduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verificationsImplement new hire orientation and employee recognition programsPerform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and developmentHandle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staffAttend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain complianceMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawWhat You Need to Bring to the HR Generalist Role:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required1-3 years of Human Resource experienceKnowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systemsWhy Youll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
