A Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, welcoming them with your warm smile and exuberant demeanor. Your role will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and calmly prior to their appointments.
  • Placing patients in treatment rooms, obtaining vitals, and gathering necessary information for the Doctor/PA.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment, turning rooms over in a timely manner.
  • Covering reception duties when necessary.
  • Thoroughly documenting patient charts to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Providing a compassionate and supportive experience for all patients.

What You Need to Be Qualified for This Job

  • Current Medical Assistant Certificate
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Venipuncture skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Knowledge of Fertility/Infertility (desired but not necessary; training provided)
  • Familiarity with EMR Systems
  • Basic computer skills
  • A compassionate demeanor and a positive team-player attitude
