Come and work for a family-owned, award-winning BrightStar Care franchise and work in the community where you live. We are looking for CNAs and Caregivers to serve in-home clients in McHenry County and Barrington including Woodstock, McHenry, Crystal Lake and Algonquin. Flexible shifts available; let us know your availability

BrightStar Care is reinforcing our commitment to providing the highest quality of safety and care for clients and employees throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We will provide you with necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, surgical masks, N95 respirator masks, face shields/goggles, hand sanitizer, and gowns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary
  • Provide care according to the patient’s plan of care, assist with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, linen changes, light housekeeping

Requirements

  • A current, valid state certification and in good standing
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile preferred
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

**Paid after first 4 shifts worked. Must be on-time, no call-offs
