This role will ensure accurate and timely tax filings, effective tax planning strategies, and proper accounting for income taxes under ASC 740. The position will work closely with international and state tax leads and collaborate cross-functionally in the organization to support global tax initiatives. The ideal candidate brings tax technical expertise and strong project management and communication skills./ppDomestic Tax Responsibilities:/pulliOversee and detail-review U.S. Federal Consolidated 1120, extensions, estimated payments, and supporting workpapers and memos./liliAssist with quarterly and annual domestic income tax provision under ASC 740, including financial statement disclosures and audit documentation./liliReconcile tax filings to provisions, support deferred tax balances, and prepare tax account reconciliations./liliEnsure SOX compliance through documentation and timely performance of controls./liliMonitor legislative developments affecting U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws in collaboration with SALT specialist./liliSupport domestic tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries, ensuring appropriate documentation and defense strategies./liliManage completion of the U.S. RD tax credit study./liliConduct tax research as needed and document resulting tax positions./li/ulpCross-Functional Strategic Support:/pulliPartner with state and international tax teams to ensure cohesive execution of global tax strategy./liliWork closely with finance and cash management teams to forecast cash tax needs and manage timely payments./liliMaintain regular cadence of communication with Treasury team regarding loans, dividends, and transfer pricing initiatives./li/ulpTechnology Process Improvement:/pulliDrive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with NBS Next principles, fostering simplification and value creation./liliDocument tax processes for purposes of knowledge sharing, internal controls, and audit defense./liliCollaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements and implement tax technology tools and solutions./liliSupport tax transformation initiatives including automation and data analytics./li/ulpTeam Leadership Development:/pulliSupervise and mentor tax staff, fostering technical growth and professional development./liliContribute to knowledge sharing and cross-training initiatives within the tax function./li/ulpEducation and Experience Requirements:/ppEducation:/pulliBachelors degree in accounting, finance from an accredited institution is required./liliCPA or advanced degree (MST or JD) preferred./li/ulpExperience:/pulliMinimum 8 years of corporate domestic tax experience with a Big 4 or publicly traded multinational corporation./liliProven experience with ASC 740, financial reporting, and tax provision software./liliExperience with OneStream, SAP and OTP/OIT preferred./li/ulpWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:/ppHybrid work environment. Minimal travel required, usually locally, but could also include international, to assist with execution of board meetings and events.
