Job Title - ADA Tester

Location - Mountain View, CA. (Day-one Onsite)

Job Type - C2C/W2


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive testing for ongoing releases to ensure the highest quality and functionality.
  • Perform release testing to identify and catch regressions in products.
  • Verify that new or updated features comply with established accessibility standards.
  • Test typical use scenarios with assistive technologies (AT) to ensure usability for people with disabilities.
  • Create and execute detailed test cases and scripts for new and existing features and functionality.
  • Maintain and update test cases, scripts, and documentation to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Develop and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Utilize accessibility checking tools (e.g., Accessibility Scanner, Lighthouse) to evaluate product compliance.
  • Undertake other assignments related to accessibility testing as designated by this team.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ Years of Accessibility testing experience.
  • Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, switch access, magnification).
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion best practices.
  • Proficiency in using various accessibility checking tools.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility industry regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, EN 301 549, ARIA, Section 508, Accessibility Conformance Reports).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
