Our goal is to get our patients back to life without limits.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an entrepreneurial attitude and commitment to join our team as a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Okemos, MI.Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment requiredProvide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelinesDocument findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregiversImplement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatmentsCommunicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companiesEnsure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reportsQualificationsGraduate degree CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferredCurrent state of MI license and CPR certificationAbility to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environmentBasic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office,Additional InformationWhat You'll Get:Competitive salaryExcellent benefits package including 401k, health, dental, generous paid time off, and moreTraining and supportMultiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadershipClinic mentorshipEmployee discount plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Family-friendly work environmentInvestment from a company that wants you to succeed and thriveJob Location
