Inbound LeadThe Inbound Lead is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Inbound/Receiving department at the Randolph, New Jersey Distribution Center. This role ensures the proper unloading, verification, inspection, and check-in of all inbound deliveries using the WMS and NetSuite ERP systems. The Inbound Lead verifies that all inbound and outbound paperwork is accurate and that all products are properly accounted for. They interpret inventory values within the systems, address discrepancies, and ensure that the receiving area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA and other safety standards.The Inbound Lead is also responsible for appropriately deploying staff to maintain consistent and efficient processes that support the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of finished goods inventory, as well as daily cycle counting. They ensure all team members are adequately trained and, where appropriate, cross-trained to maximize productivity.The Inbound Lead supports overall workforce management by helping to develop schedules, assign tasks, and uphold a safe and efficient operation. They are expected to lead by example, using clear communication and motivational techniques while providing input and recommendations to management.Essential Responsibilities - Primary duties of the position include:Prioritize daily work using the Warehouse Management System (WMS Krber) to meet service and productivity objectives.Ensure inbound receipts are properly checked-in and stocked within 24 to 48 hours of arrival.Distribute and balance staff effectively to meet turnaround times for daily check-in, storage, replenishment, and cycle counting.Serve as the lead trainer for temporary and contract staff and provide recommendations to management on worker status.Exercise discretion in reassigning distribution center workers to maintain balanced workflows and maximize productivity.Open or close the facility as needed: responsible for arming/disarming the security and fire alarm systems and responding to alarm calls when contacted by the alarm monitoring company.Work closely with GSM Customer Service, Sales, Buying/Merchandising, and Inventory teams, and collaborate with NJ Distribution Center managers to resolve issues and ensure the timely and ensure accurate, timely operations.Ensure daily completion of lift truck safety check sheets by operators.Enforce the distribution center's no personal cell phone use policy, including self-compliance.Required competencies include:Excellent verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Strong ability to identify priorities, manage schedules, and reassign distribution center staff to meet deadlines.Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.Proficient in WMS, NetSuite, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Demonstrated experience in highly collaborative environments, both as a project leader and team member.Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Solid understanding of distribution center operations and familiarity with warehouse management systems and computerized scanning equipment.Physically capable of lifting cartons weighing 20 to 50 pounds and standing on concrete floors for up to 8 hours per day.Required Education and Experience:Minimum of 3 years' warehouse or distribution center experience.Bilingual English & Spanish.Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000This is a nonexempt position and this is the low and high end of the pay range for this position.
