Optimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking a Forklift Operator

Summary:

We’re looking for qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening for the Forklift Operator position. Experience operating forklifts and maneuvering trailers is a must This is a full-time position at our rapidly growing facility

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans to keep the lot clean and professional in appearance.

  • Keep units and equipment secure from weather

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

  • Move units in and out of the service department throughout the day as directed by the management team.

  • Maintain the inventory yard, ensuring that all units are parked in the appropriate rows as directed by the Sales Manager

  • Must work outdoors even in inclement weather

  • Towing experience preferred

  • Operate a tractor and/or forklift

  • Drive RV units as required

  • Experience using generators and operating slide-outs

  • Ability to repair small items and identify problem units

  • All other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License - clean driving record

  • Towing experience highly preferred

  • Demonstrableexperience pulling and backing tractor trailers

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with 20,000lb Forklift

  • CDL A Highly Preferred
