Locum Tenens Hospitalist Opportunity - Near Zanesville, OH We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Hospitalist for a locum tenens position near Zanesville, OH. This role involves providing care in a hospital setting with a focus on night shifts, although some day shifts are available. The ideal candidate will be flexible and open to working at two different sites. Position Details: Specialty: HospitalistShift Type: Nights (7 on / 7 off), some day shifts availableShift Hours:Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AMDay shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (limited availability)Weekend Requirements: YesOn Call Requirements: None Patient Volume & Responsibilities: Daily Census: 31.6 patientsNightly Admissions: 5-6 on averagePhysician Shifts:7:00 AM 7:00 PM (2 physicians)7:00 PM 7:00 AM (1 physician)APP Shifts:7:00 AM 7:00 PM (2 APPs)ICU Beds: 12 beds Required Skills & Procedures: Intubation: Required, with assistance from Respiratory Therapists who are currently being trained to intubate all patientsCentral Line Insertions: Frequently requiredVentilator Management: RequiredPreferred Procedures: Chest tubes, lumbar punctures Specialty Coverage: Pulmonology: Available Monday through Friday, with availability for evening and weekend callsOther Specialties: Surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, podiatry, ophthalmology, interventional radiology (paracentesis, thoracentesis, bone marrow, ports), PICC line nurse Facility Information: EMR System: MediTech Requirements: Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or double boarded with ABPSExperience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospitalist experienceProcedural Logs: Must provide logs from the last 12 months, reflecting central lines, intubations, and ventilator managementState License: Ohio license required (IMLC not accepted)COVID Vaccination: Required Credentialing: Emergency/Temporary Privileges: YesStart Date: ASAP - OngoingThis is an exciting opportunity for a hospitalist who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment with an open ICU.
