Location: Forest Park, IL
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Forest Park, IL. The SLP will be responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, while working closely with educators and families to develop effective individualized therapy plans.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC-SLP certification preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students speech and language abilities
- Create and implement personalized therapy plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development
- Keep accurate documentation and records of student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and assist in developing student goals
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education in speech therapy
