CashierWe are looking for a cashier that is outgoing and engages with every guest with a smile and able to have conversations of interests.A good job candidate is a cashier that can accurately ensure every transaction is settled in a timely and efficient manner. The main responsibilities include communicating what is in the burgers, upselling toppings on burgers, accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions are accurate and every customer is satisfied with the service.The cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding experience.A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.Responsibilities:Managing transactions using a cash registerBalancing the cash registerScanning goods and making sure pricing and quantities are accurateAccepting payments in cash, credit or checkProviding change and receiptsIssuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cardsProcessing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaintsBagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transportUpselling and cross-selling when appropriateRequirements:Must have at least a high school degreeBasic computer knowledgeGood math skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively resolve complaintsMahaloha Burger - Waikiki2233 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI, 96815
