The successful candidate will serve as the engineer of record for all designs prepared under their supervision and will be responsible for signing and sealing all construction documentation for the State of Texas.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of electrical documentation and drawings, ensuring compliance with USA standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams in the USA and Romania, providing oversight of design activities.
  • Serve as the engineer of record for all designs prepared under supervision, signing and sealing all construction documentation for the State of Texas.
  • Develop and review electrical documentation, including cable sizing, LV and MV MCC specifications, 12.47KV substations, load studies, single line diagrams, motor schematics, grounding, lighting, and technical bid tabs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of design deliverables, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license, with a preference for candidates licensed in Texas or eligible to obtain Texas licensure.
  • 6 to 8+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of USA standards and regulations related to electrical design.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and coordinate with international counterparts.
  • Experience with cable sizing, LV and MV MCC specifications, substations, load studies, single line diagrams, motor schematics, grounding, and lighting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
