divh2Team Leader/h2pAFS is hiring a Team Leader for the Client Relations Team. The focus of this position is managing a team of professionals to meet firm goals. The Team Leader is responsible for training, goal setting, creating a positive work environment for junior staff, and performance reviews for the team members. Team leaders typically have input into setting policies and are expected to champion AFS culture and goals. Team leaders are evaluated primarily on the success of their team. For this position, an individual must have a minimum ten years of industry experience and five years of supervisory experience./ppstrongJob Responsibilities:/strong/pulliManage a team of 6-8 staff members, which will include some combination of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Associate Account Managers. Management will include ensuring client satisfaction of the clients assigned to the team, managing the team to meet AFSs performance metrics, providing training and feedback to team members, and completing salary and performance reviews/liliMust be a champion for AFS values and policies/liliAssist in training staff members throughout the year/liliResolve a minimum of 50% of service issues escalated by team members/liliKeep current with new regulations and legislation as well as an awareness of proposed regulations and legislation/liliAssist with a minimum of three AFS client/broker outreach initiatives throughout the year, such as live seminars, webinars, or special AFS events/liliAssist team members with annual client reviews/liliMaintain a caseload of about 50 clients/liliProvide design and consulting services to plans assigned to the team/liliCultivate existing client relationships for plans assigned to the team/liliCommunicate with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals on plans assigned to the team/li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulli10+ years of experience in nondiscrimination testing/lili5+ years of supervisory experience/liliCredentials with a nationally recognized organization (ASPPA or NIPA)/liliStrong knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code and Regulations/liliStrong research and analytical skills/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliProficiency in MS Excel and MS Word/liliSuperior organizational and coordination skills/liliFlexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task/liliKnowledge of Pension Pro is a plus/li/ulpstrongCompensation and Benefits:/strong/pulliBase Salary $80,000-$120,000/liliSalaried, exempt/liliMedical, dental, disability, and life insurance/liliPaid time off/lili401(k) plan with employer match/li/ulpstrongWork Location/Hours:/strong/pulliWork from home/liliMust work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer/liliWe will supply all necessary computer equipment/liliYou may choose a start time between 7:30 am and 8:30 am/li/ul/div
