Job Overview

Ensure timely and accurate preparation, disbursement, and correct documentation of Highridge Medical’s US, Puerto Rico, and other global payrolls, and tax preparation. Review and approve employee expense reports and ensure expense reports are processed on time as per company policies and guidelines.


Responsibilities for Senior Payroll and T&E Analyst position

  • Responsible for day-to-day payroll activities such as maintaining payroll database, recording updates, processing payroll and issuing payment summaries to employees globally.
  • Verify employee timesheets and cross-check payment details, such as work hours, leaves, and other records
  • Work closely with various payroll vendors, systems and employer of records to ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls globally.
  • Payroll tax coordination and reconciliation
  • Ensure payroll processes and systems are compliant with state, federal local and global laws by implementing best practices as and when regulations change
  • Implement payroll processing software and tools to automate clerical tasks, such as preparing transaction reports, calculating taxes, and other deductibles
  • Support workforce planning by providing insights on labor trends, analyzing historical transactions, and creating forecasting models
  • Collect, clean, and analyze travel, expense and credit card data in Concur
  • Utilize analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in T&E data, conducting root cause analysis to understand the drivers behind travel and expense variances
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key insights and metrics and present findings and observations to the Manager, in a clear and concise manner
  • Help with identifying and creating KPIs for various aspects of the T&E Program
  • Continuously refine reporting methodologies to enhance data accuracy and relevance
  • Identify instances of non-compliance anomaly travel patterns and work with the team to address issues and improve adherence
  • Recommend updates to internal processes improvement based on data-driven insights and industry best practices
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline processes and eliminate manual tasks through automation and technology solutions
  • Identify opportunities to optimize travel and expense costs while maintaining employee service and safety levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of Company T&E Program and global payroll processes
  • Remain current of changes in global payroll laws, regulations, and rates which impact payroll functional area
  • Payroll tax coordination and reconciliation with third party tax provider
  • Manage Global Corporate Payroll owned account reconciliation

Qualifications for Senior Payroll and T&E Analyst position

  • Knowledge of core payroll process globally
  • 3+ years of experience in global payroll processing
  • Advanced certification recognized by the APA (American Payroll Association); preferably CPP
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or a relevant field will be an advantage
  • Solid grasp of standard tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, Celergo and Concur
  • Excellent reporting, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Mathematical aptitude and a solid understanding of financial data
  • Experience working with travel, expense/or credit card systems (e.g., SAP Concur Travel and/or Expense) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a very detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent organization, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to learn new concepts independently, coupled with ability for efficiently managing assignments and prioritizing workflow with increasing autonomy
  • Trustworthy and works with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments on a global basis to resolve payroll and compensation-related issues.
  • Strong background in Finance and Accounting and should be familiar with HR practices, payroll policies, and benefits distribution.
  • Knowledge of payroll management systems, such as ADP, Concur, and Direct Travel is a plus
  • You should be able to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with Company external business partners, demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills and sound judgment and have a keen eye for detail, and be motivated to learn and take on additional responsibility, without jeopardizing quality of existing responsibilities.
