AI Cyber Security Specialist

We are in search of a seasoned Security Consultant to enhance our IT team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of AI technologies and comprehensive knowledge of data management using Data Loss Prevention strategies. As an integral member of our IT team, your contributions will include providing insight into emerging security challenges and crafting appropriate solutions during strategic discussions.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage in IT team meetings to address and strategize on forthcoming security challenges, focusing on new technology implementations from both architectural and practical perspectives.
  • Design and enforce security protocols for AI initiatives such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.
  • Manage data security and compliance, implementing effective data loss prevention strategies.
  • Configure and sustain firewall systems, predominantly Palo Alto Networks, safeguarding network infrastructure.
  • Recommend best security practices and risk management strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Perform routine security evaluations and audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to weave security measures throughout IT projects.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT security, specifically in security implementation and remediation roles.
  • Proficiency in AI technologies such as (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and custom proprietary AI tech) and data management is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience managing firewall technologies, particularly Palo Alto Networks and Citrix VPN solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to anticipate and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Effective communication skills capable of delivering clear security guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator are preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Data Loss Prevention
