Responsibilities

  1. Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  2. Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  3. Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
  4. Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
  5. Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses

Qualifications

  1. Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
  2. Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations
  3. Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
  4. Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
  5. Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills

Compensation

$120,000 - $160,000 yearly
