The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible fordecontamination, assembly of linen packs, operation of steam, ETO and otherforms of sterilization. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains adequateinventory for assembly of instruments and equipment and performs multiple tasksthat assist in the daily operation of all units as well as being responsiblefor customer service. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent? Certification as required by state regulations or contractspecifications? Certification for sterile processing technicians by theInternational Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management(IAHCSMM) or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution(CBSPD) may be required One (1) year of experience in sterile processing preferred?
