Requirements:
Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania
Current certification in CPR & ACLS
Master's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program
Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a nurse practitioner - occupational or industrial experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of clinical standards of care
Responsibilities/Skills:
Triage injuries to determine if injuries can be treated on-site, or if off-site medical care is required, and determine the appropriate method of transportation and appropriate level of off-site treatment
Managed care of injured employees with panel physicians
Maintain patient treatment files for workplace injuries
Communicate with hospital/clinic staff regarding off-site treatment to injured staff
Provide follow-up care and create modified duty programs
Educate employees on health and safety topics
Document pertinent patient information on all required forms/documents
Ensure all required certifications are current and remain current
Represent the company by being courteous, professional, and a patient advocate
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports and correspondence
The schedule is as follows:
Monday and Wednesday – Ellwood City Clinic – 7 am to 4 pm
Tuesday and Thursday – New Castle Clinic – 7 am to 4 pm
Friday – New Castle Clinic – 7 am to 11 am
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (with travel between clinics)
Ability to commute/relocate:
Ellwood City, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
