Lead Project Manager- Site & Heavy Civil Construction (leveling dependent on experience)RZ Contracting / Land Pro SolutionsOverview:RZ Contracting and Land Pro Solutions are established site development and heavy civil construction companies serving the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager / Estimator who is well-versed in project scheduling, planning, and estimating for heavy civil and site work projects. The ideal candidate will have both field and office experience, capable of managing projects from pre-construction through completion with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.Prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork, utilities, grading, paving, and related scopes of work.Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and reliable pricing.Perform plan and specification reviews to identify scope gaps, value-engineering opportunities, and project risks.Lead bid preparation, budget development, and assist with change order management.Monitor production, cost, and schedule performance, and generate project reports as needed.Participate in internal and client meetings to support project planning, coordination, and execution.Maintain organized documentation for estimating, procurement, and schedule tracking.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in heavy civil, site development, or related construction disciplines.Proven experience developing project schedules and detailed cost estimates.Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, stormwater, and paving operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software (e.g., HCSS or similar).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, plans, and specifications.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience preferred.Compensation:Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.Location:Mid-Atlantic Region — primary operations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.
