Job Summary

This is a part-time weekend role with a starting pay rate of $15 to $17.50 per hour, plus shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. We also offer weekly pay and various benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Support patient care, such as oral, denture, and skin care.
  • Assist patients with daily care tasks like bathing, dressing, and bathroom use.
  • Help patients transfer safely between bed and wheelchair using the correct transfer belt.
  • Take patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, and record the information.
  • Escort patients to meals and assist with feeding if necessary, documenting food intake.
  • Provide personal grooming assistance, such as brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, and shaving.
  • Turn patients intermittently if they are bedridden due to illness.
  • Document patients' health information, including I&O, medical conditions, and care given.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
  • Understand and implement care plans.
  • Identify the four basic food groups in sample meals.
  • Apply and release restraints, and provide exercise as required.
  • PRACTICE PROPER BODY MECHANICS WHILE MOVING/PTRANSMITTING PATIENTS.
  • Provide range of motion exercises for patients.
  • Recognize and report signs of abuse or changes in condition.
  • Properly document information according to established guidelines.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia is required.
