This position covers inpatient stroke and general neurology, including consults in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and the emergency room and reading routine and prolonged EEGs. BRMC, a 312-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Bristol, Tennesssee, is a primary stroke center. This role's primary location will be BRMC but will require some responsibilities at Holston Valley Medical Center (HVMC) in Kingsport, Tennessee and Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) in Johnson City, Tennessee which are each located 15 miles from Bristol.
