Role Description
Island Direct Primary Care is seeking highly skilled MDs, DOs, APRNs, or PAs to join our team in Melbourne, FL and Merritt Island, FL. This is a full-time on-site role where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional primary healthcare to our members.
As a primary care provider, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and managing chronic diseases. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your patients and provide personalized care tailored to their individual needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with our dedicated team to promote preventive care, wellness, and a holistic approach to health.
Qualifications
- Valid MD, DO, APRN, or PA license in the state of Florida
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the relevant specialty
- Demonstrated expertise in primary care and preventive medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Direct Primary Care or similar membership-based practice
- Knowledge of healthcare policy and familiarity with insurance reimbursement systems
- Experience in managing chronic diseases and promoting wellness
- Experience in occupatioal health and corporate wellness
