On-Site Service Technician I

• Provide daily support of systems to end users and executives

• Proactive maintenance and monitoring of conference room equipment

• Accurate record keeping in CRMS (Conference Room Management System)

• Live event support for Town Halls

• Configuration of Crestron control systems

• Identify collaborative technology needs and liaison between end customer and third parties

• Coordinate with onsite contractors on design and implementation of collaboration space

• Administers conference infrastructure and planning the webcasting of major corporate events

• Must be able to maintain digital signage infrastructure

• Provides training and consultation to end users related to AV and PC needs

• Effectively communicates and assists customers in an audience appropriate manner

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the Audio/Visual Industry

• Requires Extron AV Associate Certification

• Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems

• Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices


On-Site Service Technician II

• Same as On-Site Service Technician I

• Assist with technical design of new and existing collaboration spaces

• Works with external vendors when appropriate to meet customer needs

• Administers code (Crestron, Biamp) to standard rooms without supervision

• Administers EDID settings from source to display

• Uses Crestron SIMPL Debugger to troubleshoot possible control issues

• Minor changes to Crestron SIMPL Windows and VTPE

• Be able to provide linkage to the Global Meeting Technology team to facilitate seamless service delivery to business units or functions

Experience

• Intermediate level, typically 3-5 years of experience

• At least 3-months of on-site experience or 5+ years in the AV Industry

• Requires Avixa CTS Certification

• Identifies problems and develops potential solutions

• Makes decisions within well-defined parameters


On-Site Service Technician III

• Same as On-Site Service Technician I

• Same as On-Site Service Technician II

• Fully competent in Biamp Software

• Programming of Crestron control systems for small projects

Experience

• Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience

• At least 1-Year of onsite experience

• Requires a strong understanding of discipline

• Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations

• Makes decisions within broad parameters

• Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience


On-Site Service Technician IV

• Same as On-Site Service Technician I

• Same as On-Site Service Technician II

• Same as On-Site Service Technician III

• Programming of Crestron control systems for large projects

Experience

• Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience

• At least 2-Years of onsite experience

• Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field

• Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems

• Influences others to achieve objectives

• Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset
