Commercial CarpenterWe are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading blueprints and accurately laying out framing systems.Responsibilities:Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices.Perform wood and metal stud framing.Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing.Read and interpret blueprints for accurate framing system layout.Operate hand and power tools proficiently.Adhere to construction safety standards.Work independently or as part of a team.Essential Skills:3+ years of experience in commercial carpentry.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Understanding of construction safety standards.Experience with reading blueprints and layout framing systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications:OSHA 10 certification.OSHA 30 certification.Boom Lift operation.Scissor Lift operation.First Aid and CPR certifications.Work Environment:Candidates will work in commercial environments with shifts from 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm, depending on the jobsite. Proper attire includes hard hats, high-visibility gear, and work boots.Job Type & Location:This is a contract to hire position based out of North Aurora, IL.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
