As our Director, you will provide direction to ensure the facilitation and utilization of diverse strategies and communication for quality and performance improvement in accordance with organizational, regulatory and accreditation body requirements. You will also be responsible and accountable in the organization wide direction and facilitation of performance assessment, reassessment, development and implementation of the Quality/Performance Improvement program.Responsibilities include utilizing, integrating, and interpreting data to assist organization in its improvement efforts, working collaboratively with Senior Management to develop strategic quality initiatives, leading organizational performance efforts for JCAHO, core quality measures, COP and regulatory and all other accrediting and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with JCAHO, and all legal, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements are met, and actively contributing to and working toward hospital wide improvement in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related field, current FL RN license preferred, CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) OR CHCQM (Diploma in American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians), three-five years of experience in a healthcare environment, previous experience in accreditation, quality, utilization management, or risk management required, knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is a 237 bed acute care hospital serving Charlotte County. We have emergency care, an accredited cancer program, a stroke center of excellence and a chest pain center. We have an orthopedic and spine center, wound management and hyperbaric medicine.
