Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: 1090 E. 37th St. N. Wichita, Kansas

Pay Rate: $29/hr.W2

Contract Position

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Timings: 07:00 am to 03:30 pm

Client: Siemens Gamesa


Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect product to determine compliance with order specifications and company’s quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.

Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner

Communicate inspection results and status to management and Engineering as applicable.

Generate ideas and suggestions on reducing inspection turnaround time.

Examine company’s records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.

Complete visual inspection

Stamp mark of approval or rejection on product and write report of examinations.


Minimum Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, competency, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

2+ years of manufacturing or quality experience preferred.

Industry experience preferred.

Specification interpretation competence required.

Experience with mechanical and configuration hardware such as fasteners, brackets, wire forms, seals, connectors, required.

Mechanical inspection skills including use of calipers, micrometers, etc. required.

Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, internet research, and e-mail required.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with little supervision required.

Sense of urgency required.

Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines required.
