  • Lead the local technical team while collaborating closely with partner technical leads and cloud leadership.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service health, manageability, and reliability through end-to-end telemetry, alerting, self-healing, and automation.
  • Develop database management systems to automate routine tasks and provide a streamlined, self-service interface for database developers.
  • Oversee database security automation, ensuring data safety and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and availability.
  • Contribute to the management and support of critical production databases running on GCP or AWS.
  • Engage with users and collaborate on a technical level with engineering teams to advance services.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in tool development, automation/scripting, and programming (C++, C#, or equivalent), with enhancements in sub-components surrounding services/products to deliver and manage software in production.
  • 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting/debugging, with skills spanning network, hardware, and distributed service layers, and proven ability to debug, fix, and optimize code.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting PostgreSQL or extensive experience with other OLTP databases.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills are essential.
