Forklift Operator And Material HandlerThe warehouse forklift driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety standards.Responsibilities:Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers according to company procedures.Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist with cycle counts.Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety issues.Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and staging orders as needed.Essential skills:Forklift operationInventory managementMaterial handlingRF scanner usagePackingSit down and stand up forklift operationUnloadingProductionShipping and receivingOrder pickingReach truck operationWarehouse inventory controlLabelingAdditional skills & qualifications:Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to lift up to a specified weight and work in varying warehouse conditions.Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.Why work here?Work in a clean facility with the opportunity for a pay raise after 90 days.Work environment:The work environment includes operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse setting.
