As a Risk Management Analyst III, you will report to the Director of Insurance & Risk Management. You will also provide analysis and reporting to facilitate the management of the Company's insurance programs, and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExperience working for an Insurance Broker, Carrier or within a Risk Management department for a corporation, specifically with property and casualtyKnowledge of Risk Management processes with respect to coverage placement, contract review, insurance compliance, claims management, insurance recovery, and other facets related to protection of company assets.Strong facilitation skills that address complex risks and Business stakeholder concernsThe ability to independently and collaboratively address complex risks and Business stakeholder concernsQualifications We Prefer:Professional certification(s) in risk or insurance such as CRM, ARM, CPCU, RIMS-CRMPStrong knowledge of accounting and insurance principlesFlexible and adaptable with the ability to work seamlessly cross functionallyAt Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
