Spectrum Reach helps businesses of all sizes reach anyone, anywhere, on any screen.The Director of Account Management leads a National Account Management team responsible for delivering on client goals and managing partnerships across the agency holding companies and independent agencies for the programmatic business. This role oversees two senior managers who lead our Account Managers and Specialists. This key team member is integral to ensure advertisers and agencies have a positive customer experience and will help fuel programmatic revenue growth. Reporting into the Senior Director of Account Management, you will partner closely to drive strategy, process and performance across the programmatic business and team. This role requires experience leading a team, setting goals, and developing best practices within the account management discipline of a programmatic business (preferably streaming/ OTT/ CTV).Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach and develop two senior managers overseeing a team handling pre-sale and post-sale account management functions to ensure the team is delivering a best-in-class customer experience.Partner with management peers and leadership to ensure alignment across team goals and business priorities.Establish and communicate clear expectations and growth opportunities for all team members.Process & Operational ExcellencePartner with leadership to define and standardize workflows and expectations across the account management team.Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflow, improve accuracy and enhance the customer experience.Ensure consistency in how the team plans for and manages deals across proposal development, deal submission, deal monitoring and reporting/client recaps.Develop best practices in how deal performance data is reviewed, analyzed and shared with our clients.Programmatic Strategy & GrowthPartner with the National Sales team and cross-functional leads to grow the programmatic business and ensure all deals are delivered to the expectations of the clients.Empower and equip the team to provide strategic guidance to clients and sales to drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities.Define the team's approach to deal health monitoring and performance insights to inform business decisions and client strategy.Business Management & InsightsEstablish and track KPIs to measure team efficiency, account/deal health and team's impact on revenue providing ongoing reachouts to Senior Director of Account Management.Partner with Senior Director of Account Management to identify trends, risks and opportunities across the programmatic business and workflow.What Youll Bring to SpectrumRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgePeople leader in account management roleStrong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, metrics and optimization strategiesUnderstanding of how Streaming/ OTT/ CTV is bought and soldExperience with PMP and PG deal typesExperience with Salesforce, SSPs, DSPs and other Advertising software or technologyVision of what a good customer experience and lifecycle looks like for programmaticProven ability to define and implement operational processes that improve efficiency and consistencyCustomer obsessed to insure excellent client experience and service pre, during, and post-saleDemonstrated organizational skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills in a faced paced sales environmentCollaborative mindset, ready to work with multiple cross-functional departmentsMust be an excellent problem solver with expertise in finding solutions with the help of othersHigh level proficiency in MS Office, particularly excel as well as other data and analytics softwareEffective verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with overarching skill to translate data, information, and research into powerful points of viewability to craft and tell a compelling storyFamiliarity with writing rationales and/or agency POVsAn analytical mindset that identifies solutions based in dataRequired EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceRequired Related Work Experience and Number of YearsAd sales experience: 8Management experience: 2Programmatic experience: 4Preferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeExperience in CTV video or premium publisher environmentsBackground in organizational transformation including building structure, process and alignment across multiple teamsPreferred Related Work Experience and Number of YearsExperience in an Ad sales environment, with a background in Sales Support, Account Planning, or OperationsHere, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers. The base pay for this position generally is between $120,800.00 and $167,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
