Job Description Title: Prosthetist Orthotist Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 + bonus + benefits Location:Walnut Creek, CA Position Overview We are looking for a Lead Prosthetist-Orthotist to join our team. This position blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities. The role is best suited for a skilled clinician who is passionate about patient outcomes and ready to mentor, guide, and manage a clinical team. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care (approx. 75% of the role). Manage and oversee prosthetic cases across multiple sites. Mentor and support Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists and Certified Orthotists. Build and maintain physician and referral source relationships. Collaborate with fabrication and audit teams to ensure timely and accurate outcomes. Participate in vendor evaluations, pricing strategies, and L-code selections. Lead team meetings, monitor practitioner KPIs, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Qualifications ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; 2+ years in a leadership role preferred. Broad expertise in multi-specialty orthotics and prosthetics, including trauma, pediatrics, scoliosis, and stroke care. Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills. Requirements Competencies Proven ability to lead by example. Advanced technical knowledge in prosthetics and orthotics. Commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues, patients, and referral partners. Dedication to continuous professional development. Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs independently. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
