Jiffy Lube Assistant ManagerJiffy Lube Assistant Managers are certified and proficient in all areas of store operations, sales and service and responsible for developing guest relationships. In addition, the Assistant Manager sets an example as a leader, focusing on the career development of teammates, and provides consistent guidance and direction ensuring that all policies, procedures, and services are performed to Jiffy Lube's highest standards. These are our resident experts who ensure quality workmanship to get our guests back on the road. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. And every J-Team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning training program. We even offer Ace Accreditation of up to 32 college credits for completion and certification of Jiffy Lube University courses.Physical Qualifications:Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipmentMust be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 poundsMust be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as neededJob Duties Include, but are not limited to:Provide Jiffy Lube Guests' with exceptional and world class customer serviceBuilding relationships with Jiffy Lube Guests' by developing trust and rapportProvide store-level leadership to teammates through coaching, training, scheduling and performance managementAssist Techs perform Jiffy Lubes' Signature Service oil, routine preventative maintenance, and service filters, fluids, wipers, tire rotations and other minor servicesManaging store inventory, product ordering and receivingOversee store operations to ensure compliance and quality standardsEnsure the store is open and closed as per Jiffy Lube guidelinesPerform building and shop maintenance to improve appearance and curb appealQualifications:Previous experience working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center or quick lube is preferred. However, we can train people with the right attitude and commitment.
